The visit & experience is a must if you go Saint Lucia Island Orlando is worldwide recognize as a chef who values Creole cuisine offers original presentation and all his plate are tasty Orlando's Restaurant & Bar was recently crowned Saint Lucia's Best Restaurant of the Year 2024 at the prestigious World Culinary Awards hosted in Dubai. I was on cruise that organized a visit a lunch ar the Orlando restaurant , he personally explained his thinking of the Caribbean cuisine. Do not hesitate and reserve a seat at this restaurant

Chef’s Dinner: Privaleged to attend a Caribbean gourmet dinner presentation and tasting with the chef Orlando himself . Prepared 2 dishes ; a cold gazpacho soup (guava base) & Caribbean grilled Tuna. Showed us how to make the dishes while entertaining us with wisdom & wit! Very unique experience !

We had the pleasure of dining at Orlando's tonight in Soufriere, St Lucia. I have to say that the experience and the food were beyond amazing and we really enjoyed our evening. The dishes were creative, masterfully put together, and were elegant but also a great representation of the culture and the tastes of the area. Orlando himself is one of those people that you can tell is genuinely sincere, friendly, and loves what he does and everyone around him. We couldn't have felt more welcome and will be back. This is a more sophisticated meal with options of 3 or 5 course menu. The food is tasty, well balanced flavors, and well presented. We had the 3 course menu on Christmas eve, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Portions are meant for you to appreciate the flavors. Photo of the desert attached.

This is a restaurant for fine dining excellent for that special occasion. In my opinion does not allow you to experience the real and authentic St. Lucian cuisine. You can choose from 3 to 5 menu course with or without wine, and obviously it comes with a price. In my opinion slightly pricey for the quality/quantity of food that you get. The service is really attentive, but there is a service charge of 10% as well. Overall is an experience maybe to do once. Recommended

Amazing l 5 course tasting menu dinner with my family / party of 6. The food was incredible. The rib on the bone was one of the best I ever had, as was the pumpkin/ carrot soup. We also had amazing risotto with king fish, chocolate brûlée (to die for), salad, a couple of complimentary snacks, and coconut pie! Orlando came over to our table to say hi and explain some dishes. We are tourists on vacation, but we would recommend this special restaurant to anyone. The staff was incredibly accommodating to dietary restrictions at our table as well.

We almost missed the opportunity to eat at Orlando's. It was a national holiday and the restaurant was normally closed but Orlando opened up for our 7 person crew for a private dining experience! Amazing. Each person in our group helped with the plating of each course. So much fun to get into the kitchen and see what it takes for a chef to create such a delicious and artful meal. I won't forget this meal! Orlando is so gracious and absolutely loves what he is doing. Love is the main ingredient at Orlando's.
